Official Bio

Amruta Yelamanchili is a Member of Technical Staff of the Artificial Intelligence, Observation Planning and Analysis Group, Planning and Execution Section, of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology.

Amruta graduated with Bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. While attending Berkeley, she was a teaching assistant for multiple courses, and interned in the healthcare industry as well as at JPL, where she worked on constraint-based scheduling for the Europa Clipper Mission.

Amruta works on automated scheduling systems for mission analysis and operations. Amruta has developed and deployed automated scheduling systems used in the operations of the OCO-3 and ECOSTRESS Missions.
