Official Bio

Jason Swope is a Member of Technical Staff of the Artificial Intelligence Group, Planning and Execution Section, of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology.

Jason recently graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in computer science focusing on artificial intelligence modeling and simulation.

At Georgia Tech he explored interests in coding through internships with AT&T, Amazon, and JPL as well as working in Georgia Tech's Computational Perception Laboratory. For his research, he worked on methods to diagnose children with autism through computer vision. As a JPL intern, he worked in the Engineering Tools and Data Management group to create a cloud environment to be used on the Mars2020 project for data analysis.
