Official Bio

Amos Byon is a Member of Technical Staff in the Artificial Intelligence Group (397I), Planning and Execution Section, of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology.

Amos was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Computer Science with an emphasis in Game Design. Amos was a summer intern at JPL and worked on OnSight, an augmented reality application that places scientists on the surface of Mars, in the OpsLab.

Amos works on advanced methods for observation and mission scheduling with applications to both flight and ground. Amos is a member of the Eagle Eye team.
